A wonderful stop for those that travel between Florida and the north. 3 spacious rooms, each with their own private bathroom, are located in this lovely 1899 Victorian Home, which has been lovingly restored. Each morning, enjoy a full sumptuous breakfast, with candle-lit dinners, light or packed lunches and high-tea available on request and with prior arrangement. The brand new carriage house is set away from the main house, and is self contained and on the ground level, making it perfect for those wanting even more privacy, for longer stays, or for those who have difficulty negotiating the stairs in the main house. The room has a subtle African theme, features a queen bed, spacious seating area, mini kitchen with coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom offers a step-in shower for easy access.
Bordering on the old town, located 6 houses from McDonalds. -- Directions -- If heading southbound on I-75, take a right off exit 149, Byron-Fort Valley. Follow and stay on Highway 49 towards Montezuma. As you enter into Montezuma, Highway 49 becomes Dooly Street - you will see a statue and small water tower on your right hand side - Travelers Rest Bed and Breakfast is diagonally across the road on the left.
