Located directly across from the Inn is the Avalon Theatre, a 400-seat art deco theatre Headliners such as Wynton Marsalis and Vonda Shepard have graced the Avalon stage. Even though the Historic Tidewater Inn is only a short trip from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD, its relaxing atmosphere seems worlds away from city life. Enjoy dining Sunday through Thursday for dinner from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. or during Brunch on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sundays 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Restaurant Local located within the Historic Tidewater Inn.
