The property is the only hotel located on the golf course and can boast such a beautiful landscape. Guests will enjoy the sands of Pawleys Island or visit some of the oldest rice plantations in the country in nearby historic Georgetown. Your visit would not be complete unless you have fished the Intercostals Waterway, visited the world famousHammock shops where the first hammock was made back in the 1930's or seeing the beautiful sights of Brookgreen Gardens. Hotel is on Highway 17 and is 1 mile from the Atlantic Ocean. -- Directions -- From I-95 South, take exit 122 which is Highway 521 East to Georgetown. Then take Highway 17 North. Hotel is 8 miles on left, beside Founders Golf Club.
